DMCA Policy
Effective February 1, 2026
1. Overview
fanzzer.com respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects Creators and Fans to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. §512. This policy describes how to submit a takedown notice, how to submit a counter-notice, and how we handle repeat infringers.
2. Filing a Takedown Notice
If you believe Content on fanzzer.com infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Agent (Section 5) that includes:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including a URL or other information reasonably sufficient to locate it (e.g. a link to the post at
fanzzer.com/p/:id) - Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the identified Content and notify the Creator who uploaded it.
3. Filing a Counter-Notice
If you believe Content you uploaded was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to our Designated Agent that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the Content removed and its location before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the Content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district, and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the Content within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action seeking a restraining order.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
Accounts that receive multiple valid, unrebutted infringement notices are subject to suspension or permanent termination at our discretion, consistent with our Terms of Service.
